Sloppy print making and crude cardboard sculptures

Vintage grooming bits and bobs will feature in the next print in the 'Chess Masters' trio. This will be Chuck Berry. I always think he looked like a very smooth and dapper chap in his publicity shots for Chess Records in the 50's.

Independent record store day today, so heres a picture of a 45 of Primitive Love by Crest records recording star Tom Reeves spinning on an AMI G120 jukebox. I'm sure this record was a smash hit chart topper recently, but perhaps it wasn't. Sorry don't know how to rotate the image yet.

Frank Whittles jet engine makes an appearance in my Bo Diddley print, its a little play on words as Bo's guitars were often based on Gretsch's Jet series of twangers from the fifties, also its a nod to the space age atomic jet powered future, as a contrast to the 'jungle' rhythms normally associated with Bo's pounding music. I have always been inspired by the way Bo often made his own guitar effects, and took an experimental approach to creating strange noises on his funny shaped guitars.
